I really enjoyed this place! The environment was clean and comfortable and service was good. You order on your phone and they bring the food to you. We ordered spicy for one and mild for the other. The mala Szechuan flavor was very strong and flavorful and the portion sizes were pretty big. Would recommend this place!

We arrived here around dinner time on a Saturday. Parking was plenty in this plaza. Looks like it's also close to some chess club as well. So if you want to spice up your game, you can come here. :) The restaurant also wasn't too full or too loud. We didn't have to line up to eat or anything. Again you can order or append to your order through the on table QR code. They also suggest that if you're used to medium spiciness @ other restaurants you should go with mild. However, I got the medium of the ground pork noodle and it wasn't too bad for the spice level. I would order it again with @ least medium. The mild soup noodle seemed spicier than the medium ground pork noodle. The portion size is pretty good for the ground pork noodle. The entire bowl was filled with noodle and I was able to take extra home. I think it is because the soup itself was hot (temperature wise) also. I think the spicy wonton was good too. It had enough kick to it and also wasn't too sweet like the ones you might have @ other restaurants. The shredded chicken was ok. But you should eat that first since it tastes plain compared to the spicy wonton. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would probably come back again. I would order the ground pork noodle medium and the spicy wonton again. I also like that you can also kind of get two meals out of the noodle. And because it's dry noodle and not in a coup it is easier to save it as well! Hope you'll also enjoy it as much as I did!

The restaurant's location on the far end of the plaza is a bit hidden compared to the rest of the shops. The outside of the restaurant is entirely in Mandarin, but the name on Yelp is a bit different. Inside the restaurant, the decor is similar to another restaurant that was here before. The first pig ear dish is flavorful with chili oil, onion, and vegetables. The beef noodle soup I opt for is spicy with numbing powder added to it. The bone broth is deep and delicious. The service is fast and responsive. Plus, the owner gave us two desserts they are still working on for us to try. I also get a chance to win half off on the next noodle soup order when I return. I will return to try more of their dishes, including their chili wonton and chicken noodle soup.

It's a kind of hidden spot in the back of the plaza next to 168 market. The signature beef stew noodle soup was very delicious and had a lot of flavor and aroma. If you have high spice tolerance, I think you will be able to handle spicy which is the level I got. It has very good flavor and perfect spice for someone that loves spicy food. Very attentive service as well for a small shop and good price. Will visit again.

My toxic trait is planning multiple meal stops when gathering with my bang bang dinner boys. We were ready for dinner number 2 after having some sushi nearby and purposely saving room so that we could share some noodles. Once we arrived we saw some cold dishes that sounded appealing so we got those too, and I have been on a wonton chili oil kick so that was added to our order. The server warned us that their food runs spicy so to go lower on the level if we are unsure so we ordered some dishes mild and some medium. Food came out shortly and quickly. I didn't eat the braised meat tofu plate so can't speak to that but all the other dishes were great! I loved how tender the chicken was, and the wontons were plump and in a delicious sauce. I preferred the beef stew noodles while the boys mostly preferred the dry noodles. They thought we could order the higher levels but for me just sharing the medium spicy noodles was warming enough. At the end the server came back to play a little slot machine game where if you "hit the jackpot" with three in a row you could get a free scratcher. We won a free egg :) can't wait to go back to maybe try another noodle dish!

-food Heart pounding spicy and that is what they serve -service The environment is pleasant and service punctual -ambiance Great place to be at, location is not a reflection of the inside, the inside is well deserving -finally So do I recommend this place, yes, only if you are a lover of spicy food!

Tl;dr - their signature beef stew is pretty solid. If you have a relatively high spice tolerance, don't shy away from getting a higher spice level. Those with nut allergies should be aware that some soups have peanuts in them. On my way down from mission peak, I was thinking of what to eat as a reward. TBNS sounded so amazing in that moment and I'm glad I found this spot at the top of my Yelp search. Service was friendly and prompt. I'm not sure if she was the owner, but someone came up to me and explained their spice levels. What I got: - Signature beef stew: this came with thin spaghetti-like noodles, bok choy, and beef chunks. I got this as medium spicy. The flavor was all around decent but I think I could have gotten this spicier by one or two more levels. - Smashed cucumber salad (small size): for the portion this was well worth the $4.50. I'm glad I got this to cut into the richness of the soup. I could have done without the bell peppers but this was delicious. Overall would like to come back to try their other noodle dishes!

Julie's Noodle opened where Little by Little once was. Decor basically the same, i.e. nada. Didn't see any movies either. Offerings: Special Noodle Soup, Cold dishes, add ons, drinks. Greeted quickly upon entry. Assigned a table. Ordering by QR was simple though prolonged by many questions. Leading me unintentionally to not placing my order. Waitress kindly ordered for me on the tablet. Music: Chinese folk vocals. Seating: 12ish tables Eats: Hot & Sour Rice Noodle with Ground Pork (14.50) Slightly spicy: didn't know it was mala not szechwan spicy. -broth flava a nuanced mix of sour (vinegar) & chilies. not black pepper). Slightly spicy actually mild, a characteristic of mala, not szechwan chilis..fab taste. -noodles were transparent (glassy) made of mung beans. Nice slurpiness. Got soggy later in transit. -also in broth-bok choy, chilis, ground pork.. 4.5 unique taste. Superbly executed. Worthy.... Greeting upon departure: man man jow (walk slowly/be careful) Xian nian kuai le (New Year Happiness!) -

You know what? I was a little upset that this place replaced the one of the only "fancy" restaurants in Fremont, but you know what, I don't hold grudges long and figured, I shouldn't judge a restaurant based on its takeover. But of the two items we ordered to-go, I still remember eating it and just salivating as I'm writing this review. L O C A T I O N As mentioned, Julie's Noodle took over Little By Little's spot in the Warm Springs complex behind 99 Ranch and in the same complex as 168 Market. Parking is horrible. I would say attempt to go towards the back as there's parking a little bit in the back and you can just walk over otherwise, if you can find parking closer to the main area parking lot, good luck. M E N U They focus on noodles but do have other items outside of that. Prices seem fair considering you can get worse for more expensive. We got the won tons with chili sauce and ground pork noodle (dry). They both look like they're unassumingly simple, but the complexity of the flavors. Both had a peanuty undertone. The chili was forward, the numbing chili present. The noodles with a good chew. The wontons filled with meaty goodness. Did I entice you to go yet? S E R V I C E We ordered over the phone and picked up pretty easily and paid by credit card. O V E R A L L I cannot wait to get this again and maybe explore the menu more. The quality of the food was high. The peanut flavors wonderful though if you do have a peanut allergy, I'm sorry you may have to find something else on the menu! Inside is relatively small but it's fine, take it to go! What a gem of a find. Go and try it out yourself!
